Roberts Point Park

Roberts Point Park was built through volunteer efforts and a Texas Parks and Wildlife Recreation grant and is free to all members of the public. This waterfront park is an excellent and popular spot for fishing either from the granite jetties that mark the harbor or the bulkhead that surrounds the park. The park features interactive elements, including a lighthouse with slides, zipline, group swing, and more that kids of all ages are sure to find loads of fun! The park also hosts a range of community events and even hosts monthly concerts in their amphitheater that are free of charge on the 2nd Friday of each month from March through October. They also have a shaded pavilion perfect for having a picnic that's adjacent to shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, bocce court, basketball court, sand volleyball, a soccer field and playground equipment. Aside from the activities you can do at the park, it provides stunning views of the channel to watch cargo ships pass by up close or even catch some dolphin sightings as they bow-surf in front of the passing ships! The observational tower at the park overlooks the channel making the views even greater but anywhere along the park will give you the most beautiful sunset ocean views that are sure to take your breath away!
